2023 Nissan Altima Facelift Review– Shown in its premiere, the 2023 Nissan Altima model has a new face, with a different interpretation of the brand’s V-motion grille which appears to be almost the same size as before. The bumpers have larger side air inlets, and the headlights are also new, although we can’t tell you much about their shape as they’re hidden.
The picture is a 2022 Nissan Altima
A fatter spoiler adorns the trunk lid where the badge is covered. Everything else looks identical, including the taillights, bumper, four-fin diffuser, and even the position of the reflectors. However, there’s been enough time for Nissan to tackle these aspects, so we wouldn’t be surprised if they were updated, wheels and colors aside, perhaps.
The cover temporarily slipped off the dashboard, and our attendant with the camera got close enough to snap some pictures of the new infotainment screen, which is more significant than before and adopts a square shape. The new Switchgear can be seen below the display, and it seems the automaker has also given it a new trim all around, with a piano black finish.
2023 Nissan Altima Facelift Engine
Most likely, the engine options will carry over without significant upgrades. The 2.5-liter engine can still produce 188 hp and 180 lb-ft (244 Nm) of torque, while the 2.0-liter turbocharged unit can produce identical 236 hp and 267 lb-ft (362 Nm) of power. The all-wheel-drive system will still be an option at certain trim levels when ordered with the factory 2.5 liters.
2023 Nissan Altima Facelift Price & Release Date
While no release date has been confirmed, it’s rumored that a refresh will be revealed in mid-2022, so we might not have to wait long to see what’s hidden.
While there’s no pricing information yet, the 2021 model currently has an MSRP of $25,525, including destination charges. 2022 is expected soon at the same price point, but the 2023 model could see a slight price hike, especially if current supply issues persist.
The 2023 Nissan Altima redesign is expected to compete with other popular sedans such as the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Kia K5, and Hyundai Sonata.
