2023 Nissan Murano Redesign– The 2023 Nissan Murano is a mid-level crossover SUV with a strong reputation for driving comfort. The Nissan Murano provides a supple ride and supportive seat, this car is a capable companion willing to travel long distances.
That said, the Murano competes in a highly competitive segment where more modern rivals have beaten it in ride and handling, cabin technology, and even the versatility and space afforded by their cargo hold.
2023 Nissan Murano Design
By 2023, the Nissan Murano will get an old makeover that includes an exterior and interior overhaul. Not much is known at this time about trim specs, or which powertrain will be offered in the Murano 2023, but we’ll post information as soon as it becomes available.
For the record, the previous Murano came with a choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and was powered by a smooth 260 horsepower V6 engine paired to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
In our previous experience with the Murano, the CVT was a pleasure-free zone that could cause excessive engine noise under hard acceleration. Let’s hope the 2023 Murano shows a more premium driving experience and a better-behaved transmission, maybe a conventional 9 speed from the Pathfinder. Some form of electrified powertrain seems certain to be working in the engine room as well.
Rivals to the Nissan Murano 2023 include the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Honda Passport, Kia Sorento, Volkswagen Atlas, and Chevrolet Traverse, to name a few.
2023 Nissan Murano Interior
The Nissan Murano scores both in comfort and interior refinement but lags slightly behind its rivals in the highly competitive mid-range SUV.
Its age is definitely a drawback, but Murano’s limited cargo capacity and impaired visibility have been around since Day One. If you are interested in buying, we recommend waiting for a possible redesign in 2023.
Nissan Murano 2023 does not experience significant changes. The current Murano design has been around since 2015 but is still an expressive mid-sized crossover with a premium feel.
The 2019 refresh features LED exterior lighting, new wheels, and available leather seating. With the help of the driver system, the Nissan Safety Shield 360 became standard on most of last year’s models.
Although his muscular style is not as thick as it used to be, the Murano is still very attractive.
The sporty roofline limits overall utility. Boxier competitors could bring in more, and some offer the third line.
2023 Nissan Murano Price & Release Date
We expect the base Nissan Murano 2023 in front-wheel-drive format to have a starting price of around $34,000.
While the Murano 2023 promises to be a big step forward for Nissan’s stylish and comfort-oriented 5-seater midsize SUV, we think the price will be very similar to that of its long-running previous generation.
This means the mid-range Murano should fall around $40,000. The highest-range Platinum model is expected to run anywhere from $45,000 to nearly $50,000, depending on how it’s chosen. Lastly, we’re curious to see what the next-generation Pro Pilot Assist semi-autonomous driving technology brings.
The Nissan Murano 2023 is released to reach dealers by the end of 2022, this is still an estimate as the current Covid-19 pandemic is still not over.
2022 Nissan Murano vs 2023 Nissan Murano
The 2022 Nissan Murano is slated to get a minor redesign and will join other SUVs in Nissan’s lineup including the smaller Rogue and the more capable Pathfinder, both of which received redesigns recently. The Redesign Murano is relied upon to send off close by the new Pathfinder in the not-so-distant future.. Further changes to the Midnight Edition package with black wheels and heated faux-leather seats for the SV trim are offered this year and beyond.
Starting at an expected MSRP of $33,000, the 2022 Murano will have an economical 3.5L V6 engine option, producing a decent 260 hp. The 2022 Murano will likewise give a good joined mileage of 23 MPG. With fine refinement of the existing powertrains, the Murano will surely increase its grip on the market. Along with zero gravity seats and adequate passenger space, the existing interior design is expected to be carried out this year as well.
